A satisfying, romantic story from Harlequin’s Special Edition imprint (2025)
She never stayed in one place for long…until she felt the sweet sting of love.
Brooke Bishop thrives on adventure, from skiing slopes to sailing yachts—anything to avoid her family’s bee farm. But when Brooke and her estranged sister inherit the farm, she’s stuck there until her sister can buy her out. And then Brooke meets country singer Gable Kincaid—and she finds herself wondering if wanderlust is a bit overrated…
Seeking refuge from fame and a painful past, Gable finds Brooke is just the balm he needs. As their budding attraction blossoms, the music industry he’s trying to avoid threatens to reclaim Gable. And Brooke would rather head out of town than feel the sting of that loss. As they’re pulled down separate paths, will Brooke and Gable discover that, sometimes, home is a place found in each other?

Excerpt
She rested her hand on his chest. Relief flowed through her to feel its steady rise and fall beneath her palm. As he moved his legs, he released a low groan.
“Take it slow,” she cautioned. “Don’t rush to get up.”
In response, his lids partially opened, exposing hints of his soulful brown eyes. Suddenly to her, he didn’t look like a guy who’d just fallen from his horse. He transformed into a drop-dead gorgeous man who looked like he’d just awakened after spending a pleasurable night tangling in the sheets.
Her gaze landed on his mouth. His full lips were made to deliver slow, deep toe-curling kisses. As her thoughts drifted toward the possibility of what those kisses might feel like, her own lips tingled. The unsteady thump of her heart against her rib cage snapped her back to reality. What was wrong with her? She needed to help the poor guy, not fantasize about kissing him.
As his eyes started to close, she gave him a small shake. “No, don’t do that. Open your eyes. Hey, can you hear me?”
He rasped out, “I hear you just fine, Sun Angel.”
Sun Angel? The guy was seeing celestial beings? That wasn’t good. She shook him a little harder. “Don’t go anywhere. Stay with me.”
