What book are you currently reading or what’s the latest book you read that had you up all night?
I’m currently reading Deceptions by Kelley Armstrong. It’s book 3 in the Cainsville Series. I was a HUGE fan of her Women of the Otherworld series too! In Cainville nothing is as it seems. The town is actually a character unto itself. I love the mysteries and connections that are revealed in each book! So fun!
Why do you love to read?
Reading relaxes me and gives me a complete escape from the real world. My favorite genres for escaping into are paranormal romance, urban fantasy, horror, and historical fiction.

What book are you currently reading or what’s the latest book you read that had you up all night?
My latest book I’m obsessed with is Tikka Chance On Me by Suleikha Snyder. It didn’t have me up all night because I read it during the day on a road trip, and I glared at my husband every time he wanted to talk to me for the three hours I was devouring the pages – he soon got the message. I just….it’s all the things. I laughed and I grinned and I got a little bit hot under the collar (and places significantly lower) and I even cried. Just the character names make me happy – Trucker Carrigan and Pinky Grover. How cool are they? I seriously recommend this book to anyone who stands still enough for long enough.
Why do you love to read?
I love how reading transports you. How it takes you someplace else for a little while. I love that I can be walking down a street in suburban Australia but actually be in 1700’s Scotland or riding the Hogwarts Express or in New York. I love that it engages my imagination and my emotions.
